Mega Dreoilín

Mega Dreoilín was my entry to the LocJam – Art, Politics and Accessibility edition of Locjam. This was a very different experience, because we were tasked with translating not only game scripts, but also the game manual. Mega Dreoilín is a game that is impregnated with references to the plights of the irish youth, so a cultural research and sensitivity was necessary to maintain those elements, while making them accesible for general audiences. Overall, the process was very smooth, with the use of MemoQ as a CAT tool and other tools to assemble the final PDF file of the manual. Overall, special attention went into the layout of the PDF in order to avoid text spillage and layout mistakes.
